The one of the leading two-wheeler major in the Indian market, TVS Motors has recently said that the company has been able to post a 36% increase on a YoY basis as compared to the same period last year.

It is to be mentioned here that the two wheeler sales of the company grew from 115,448 units in June 2009 to 156,685 units in the current month.

Moreover, the cumulative sales by the company since the month of April 2010 increased by 31% standing at 456,041 units in the current financial year as against 347,141 units in the comparable period of the previous year.

The 33% growth that the company has been able tor register in the domestic market is surely a testimonial of the robust growth of the company in the Indian market.

It is not only the high two-wheeler sales of the company, but therobust growth of three-wheelers is also helping the company a lot.

Notably, the company logged highest ever sales of its three wheelers during the month. However, the high competition from HMSI is surely hurting the volumes of the two-wheeler to some extent.
