Auto index marching full speed with 8% in June

There are 12 companies enlisted in the BSE Auto Index, which has gushed 623.36 points with 8 per cent to patch up at 8,323.30 on June 30, with the major auto groups, entailing Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Hero Honda setting the record sales in the month of May and expects to churn out good double-digit figures in the month of June.
However the investor interests are maintained instead of the lower-than-expected sales digits in the month of June, at the time industry leader’s expectations went for a toss failed to fulfill the record volumes in the last month.
The shares of nations cheer leaders Maruti Suzuki's in the month of June, swooshed to 15 per cent to patch up at Rs 1,423.60. The domestic sales of the home leader, nurtured to 17.87 per cent in the month to 72,812 units, as the total sales plunked 88,091 units.
