BJP to protest for fuel price hike, Pranab not stepping back
The honorary Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday expressed his very clear on the heated issue of fuel price hike that he shall not step back in any case.
As far as things concerned he voiced that there isn’t any question to roll back while replying to the queries parched out by the reporters in a seminar.
In the protest for the quest for hike in fuel price the left parties and the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance have represented their way of protest by announcing a shutdown on Monday.
Moreover Mr. Pranab referred to the Reserve Bank of India on making the repo rates to move on the higher side and expressed the same as appropriate and welcome measure.
He added that since the interest rates are in concern, the 25 basis points hike in the repo and reverse repo rate is apposite and a solution to be welcomed with a hope that it shall be considered in the new policy statement while crafting the new policy by the RBI by July 27.
On the scene for protests and strikes on Monday the BJP had resolute to send its senior leaders to various state capitals to campaign for the demonstrations and protest marches.
