Big B Will Soon be Hitting the Tamil Screens
Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in a Tamil movie, being directed by Major Ravi. The name of the movie is ‘Kandahaar’ and Big B has completed its three-day shooting for the same with Mohanlal, the South Indian superstar and lead hero of the movie, in Ooty.
As written by Mr. Bachchan on his blog, it was a very memorable experience for him. There was an enthusiasm among the crew and the work ethics were remarkable. They share more or less similar faces, have a culture in their film fraternity and show respect and desire to serve others. He quoted many more such admirable things. Pleased with the experience, he owed his gratitude towards Tamil people, the movie, the Director and Mohanlal.
The duo of two superstars will mark a hit through the movie Kandahaar, being made in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Both of them acted together earlier in the movie Aag, directed by Ram Gopal Verma.
Director Major Ravi informed Bachchan that he would have to speak Malayalam in the film, even though the script had no such specifications. Though he opposed the director’s decision, but then gelled with the same.
Back from his shooting schedule in Ooty, Bachchan said, “This film was different. I play a North Indian man married to a Malayali woman. So, speaking a bit of the language was natural for the character. Malayalam is a tough language for me. But I managed.”
