Sir Elton John wants to focus on making albums
Renowned singer Sir Elton John has said that he wants to concentrate on making albums rather than making singles as his age is not good for the singles anymore.
The record companies were interested for singles from the singer in the 70s to 90s.
But now the singer thinks that he has gone past the age. He has said that he is not going to be in the singles chart any more.
He has said this statement at an event for the promotion of his new album at Notting Hill in London with the keyboard player, Leon Russell. He has also made it very clear that he would not record Crocodile Rock any more.
The UK number one of Sir Elton John includes Are You Ready for Love and Sacrifice. His last hit single in UK was the "Electricity" in July 2005, five years back which went to number four in the singles chart.
The 63 years old singer has collaborated with the keyboard player Leon Russell aged 68 for their new album "The Union". This new album is due to be released in coming October. Both of them have played together in the
1970s.
