According to the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy the homeopathic medicines can prevent Swine flu. AYUSH (the Ayur Department of Ayurveda, Yoga Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) has decided to call upon a meeting where all the members of the department shall mull over the techniques of averting swine flu.

A health ministry official mentioned that homeopathic medicine 'Arsenicum album' is recommended by experts to prevent flu like symptoms.

Experts suggest four pills of Arsenicum album 30 for adults and two pills for kids a day- empty stomach for three days.

In case flu conditions still prevail in the area, it is recommended that the dose should be repeated after one month.

In addition to the medicine, experts have also suggested people to follow general hygienic measures suggested by the ministry of health and family welfare for prevention of the disease.
