The Brand Value of Dhoni is increasing day by day
The skipper of the Indian Cricket team Mahendra Singh Dhoni who had been the richest cricketer of the world last year, seems to continue that record in this year too.
The cricketer has now gone pass the cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar in the form of endorsement earning as well. Currently Dhoni is endorsing maximum number of brands in India and the Indian consumers are also accepting Dhoni in that platform.
He has been signed with a Sports marketing Agency for 48 million dollar per year. This deal is a two year deal.
The same Agency had signed Sachin Tendulkar for an amount of 38 million dollar per year with three years of deal since 2006.
The skipper has earned approximately 1.3 million dollar per year only from the endorsements.
But in the previous year he has earned 10 million dollars and eighty percent of them came from endorsements only. This fact has been reported by a famous business magazine Forbes. So the brand value of the Indian skipper is getting higher day by day.
