Octopus Paul to become an iPhone application
Among all the stars of the recent FIFA World Cup held at South Africa, oracle Octopus Paul was the unlikeliest of them all.
The octopus, who was initially made use of just to predict the German team’s results, after predicting every German result correctly was used to predict the final’s result as well. This marine creature, living now in an aquarium in Oberhausen, has delivered a success rate of eight out of eight and has become a superstar overnight.
Now Octopus Paul is all slated to become an application for the Apple iPhone as a Brazilian software developer has started working on a programme named ‘Ask the Octopus’ whereby indecisive and confused people can come to a decision easily without having to think much themselves, since Paul the Octopus does it for them.
Daily decisions like whether it is okay to go to movies or the theatre, or to eat sushi or pizza, or whether to wear a dress or simply a skirt, etc. can now be taken by Paul. However, Paul the app is going to charge $ 1 for every answer.
