Udaan gets a new high
Recently, Vikramadtiya Motwane's debutant movie titled Udaan received an overwhelming response at Cannes film festival. The film plot is set up on teenage issues that are not much of a gulpable topic by the Indian audiences.
Interestingly the rumour mill churns out that this teenage floss is a direct take on life of writer-director Anurag Kashyap.
But the director of the film has denied of any such views and has maintained the similarity as mere coincidence to the Dev D director's life. Rather he commented that it's just after writing the script when he narrated it to Anurag Kashyap, he found out that some of the scenes were identical to his life in the past.
The film highlights the teenage concerns like higher studies, dream job et al. Besides the Indian release the film has also released in places like Singapore, Australia, South Africa and the United States.
The crew of the film is also trying hard to get a UK release that is subjected to happen in a week's time.
