Louis Oosthuizen Beats Paul Casey in US Open Golf Championship
Louis Oosthuizen, an African guy, has marked its victory in the US Open Golf Championship beating Paul Casey. The winning day was also shared with Nelson Mandela's 92nd birthday. Oosthuizen had no idea that the anti-racist icon also had an inclination towards golf. He applauded Mandela's efforts for the country's people and wished him for his birthday.
Oosthuizen belongs to a middle class farmer family in Mossel Bay.
In his winning speech, he owed his gratitude towards his parents. He also thanked Ernie Els, whose foundation aided him to be a professional player. He stated that without the foundation's support, his family would not have been able to fund his game. The foundation helped Louis to take part in various tournaments.
On responding to Louis's statement, Els' expressed that he has always been a wonderful kid and have always performed better than others. He further added that Louis have made their foundation feel proud by winning this title. He congratulated him for his success.
Before the finals got played, the two opponents, Louis Oosthuizen and Paul Casey made statements about one another. Oosthuizen applauded Casey and stated that he is a great player and they had some good moments on the course together. Casey also responded in a similar way and agreed to Oosthuizen.
