Big brands tie up with Aisha
Bollywood has been one of the platforms for marketers to promote their brands. And following this trend is the latest bollywood flick- Aisha. The latest venture from the Anil Kapoor home production starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol is the talk of town because of its tie-up with international brands.
These big brands include Salvatore Ferragamo and Christian Dior and this has occurred very less for Indian films. The reason for the brand associations with the movie is its central plot which is about a fashionable girl emoted by Sonam.
As Kalyani Chawla, the vice-president (marketing & communications), Christian Dior Couture, said that the movie will feature a total of 60 dresses and accessories by the brand. This will be flaunted by the leading lady of the movie- Sonam as well the other cast members. Infact, Sonam will be seen flaunting Dior bag and Abhay will show off the brands suit in the film.
Produced by Rhea Kapoor the film also showcases premium fashion brands like DLF Emporio, Portico and L'Oreal Paris. Infact around the launch of the film, Portico will launch a collection comprising 10-12 designs under the Portico Aisha collection.
The movie that is slated an August 6 release is also expected to promote these brands on television with the imagery of the movie.
