Indian consumers most eco-friendly, finds global survey
According to a survey done in 17 nations on the topic of environmental impact and consumer’s behavior it has been reported that India has the highest consumption pattern that is being maintained.
Since last two years the environment friendly behavior has been the outstanding by India. In a recent study it has been found that Indian consumers are most eco-friendly.
In the overall of naive index India has managed to receive 62.6 points. It has been at the top position in the ranking. Brazil has got 58 points and holds the second spot followed by China who has scored 57.3 points. US has scored 45 points.
The Green index 2010 was a survey on consumer choice and the environment and it was conducted all across the globe. This worldwide survey was held by the GlobeScan and National Geographic Society. GlobeScan is a renowned international polling firm.
The survey was conducted on sixty five sectors linked to transportation, housing, food and consumer goods of various countries. This survey was started in the year 2008.
