Aamir Khan's "Peepli Live" is approaching its releasing date i. e. 13th August. The actor, who is termed as a perfectionist is getting nervous since the release date is nearing, as told by the actor himself.

He added that as his movie is based on a rural background and casts no big stars, thus, he is a little worried about the success of the movie and seeks support from the viewers. He also urged the people to allure their acquaintances in foreign lands to see the movie.

The director of the movie is debutant Anusha Rizvi. Two songs of Peepli Live have been made by fusion band Indian Ocean and the band expressed that they respect Bollywood film makers, as they never alter the originality of the music. The band also gave music for Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday in 2004.

The movie is about two impecunious farmers - Natha (Omkar Das Manikpuri) and Budhia (Raghubir Yadav), who live in a village called Peepli. Their lands are in trouble due to debts and a bungling politician suggests them to commit suicide to get Government aid. This news spreads like fire and Natha is turned into celebrity by Media.

Along with its movie's promotional activities, Aamir is also appearing in Government's Atithi Devo Bhava campaign.
