Yuvraj Singh is back in the team for the next tri-series scheduled to start from August 10 in Sri Lanka. Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh will not be included in the team of 15 members. Sri Lanka and New Zealand will be the other two teams for the tri- series.

Most of the veteran players of the team are injured and will be absence in this series. Injured Gautam Gambhir and pace bowler Zaheer Khan are excluded from the gang. Along with Gambhir and Zaheer, another Paceman S Sreesanth is not the choice of selectors for this upcoming series.

Ashish Nehra, Ishant Sharma, Abhimanyu Mithun and Parveen Kumar will collectively hold the bowling line of the team. Selectors expect that this bowling squad will be able to perform well and the team will not suffer in the absence of Zaheer and Sreesanth.

Two new entries in the team for these tri- series are R Ashwin and Saurabh Tiwary, an off-spinner and batsman. Both of these players have done remarkably well in the previous domestic tournaments.

The series will last for 15 days starting from August 10 to August 25 in Dambulla.

N Srinivasan, the BCCI Secretary announced the 15-player team. Most of the members of the team who played in the Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka will be the same.
