Debutant Ali Abbas Zafar will be writing and directing the next flick of Yash Raj Films. Though the film has not been given a title, it will be produced by Aditya Chopra. The lead actors will be Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif and the shooting for the movie will start in mid-September and it will be released in 2011. Ali has assisted for many films under Yash Raj Banner such as Badmaash Company, New York, Tashan and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

Some financial troubles affected Sanjay Gadhvi’s 7 Days In Paris; consequently Emraan Hashmi replaced Imran Khan in Dibakar’s next movie. Though, Imran and Dibakar intend to do a film sooner or later, but this disaster has benefitted both Imran and Katrina.

The sources said that it will be for the first time that Imran will work for YRF films.

A source said, “The film was not scheduled to start earlier but since Katrina had bulk dates to give, considering Dostana 2 was postponed, Imran also agreed and the film is ready to take off immediately”.

Imran loved the script and he shared that he was happy to work with YRF, as he likes the way Adi works.
