Amrita Puri’s Debut with Aisha
Having acted in the modern English theatre, Qazad Padamsee's English play 'Retellings View From The Stage' is said to be Amrita Puri first rendezvous with acting and the stage.
Amrita says that she had always wanted to be an actor and that she loves the stage. But she states that she understood the fact that for someone coming from a background, that has got nothing to do with films; it would be a real challenge.
She asserts that since she was very well aware of the fact that this profession was impulsive, so she had decided to do her post graduation in Mass Communications.
"If skin show is very intrinsic for a character and is not necessarily incorporated for voyeuristic delight, then I would perhaps consider it. Thankfully for my character in Aisha, there was no need to wear anything vulgar", asserts Amrita.
Talking about the film she says that she was happy that her debut is an A-Class banner, like Anil Kapoor Productions. In the movie, she plays a small town girl from Bahadurgad.
Wearing outdated clothes and moving around with busty eyebrows, Amrita says that initially she faced a lot of trouble playing the character, as she did not even speak much Hindi.
The movie it is being said depicts the life of rich Delhi based teens and anyone watching the film will get a chance to get a sneak peek into the lives of the spoilt brats.
