On Monday the theme song of Common Wealth Games 2010 was launched by Oscar winner AR Rahman. At the meeting on Sunday after listening the version of the song, the group of minister (GOM) has decided to permit the song as the main theme song for the grand event to be held in the month of October this year in the capital of the country.

After the meeting, the GoM head, Urban Development minister S Jaipal Reddy has said that, they had a discussion among the members on this theme song and A R Rahman’s new compose has been approved. Renowned Film Director Shyam Benegal and Producer Bharat Bala was the member of this committee.

The GoM has agreed the theme song in rule. Organizing Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi has also attended the musical genius to the stage for the launch of the song.

The game will start just after 48 days. To make the game success in the world everyone expressed the priority. Rahman himself appealed everyone to give an optimistic figure of India to the world.
