Imran Quits Twitter
Being on Twitter became almost like a culture, where every Bollywood star would take towards owning an account on the social networking site, claiming to form a bond with their fans, which was merely a sham feeling, but more so for the promotion of their movies.
However, it seems that lately Twitter was getting on the nerves of such actors and celebrities, that out of frustration a lot of Bollywood’s famous people retorted to quitting Twitter.
On Wednesday, Imran Khan went off Twitter but he did so for good, which is a few days prior to the promotion of his upcoming movie, Break Ke Baad.
Amusingly, he joined Twitter since Karan Johar asked him to join the site, which was immediately before shooting for the movie, I Hate Luv Storys.
He said that he signed up and created an account just because he thought that doing so would help him connect with his fans easily and that he would get an opportunity to interact with the audience at a personal level.
But lately, he felt that this was not going the right way, so he quit it.
A major reason which prompted Imran to go off Twitter was the close proximity between his fans, where they would question a few, too personal questions, that put him off.
