Bollywood to make a movie on the life of Jesus
The life of Jesus that has inspired millions of people across the globe is now set to be captured into a film. As South Indian director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao along with producer Konda Krishnam Raju today announced a big budget movie on the early life of Jesus of Nazareth.
The movie that will be made on a mammoth budget of $30-million will be shot in Israel and the Palestinian Territories in next few months.
It will also be narrated in four different languages including English and three Indian languages, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. In order to narrate its Telugu and Malayalam versions, actor Pawan Kalyan has been bought on board while for its other versions various actors from the Bollywood industry would be roped in.
The film is also supposed to have seven devotional songs in it will feature a cast of child actors. Popular American makeup artist Christien Tinsley, will be working on the look and get up of the characters in the movie.
Interestingly various Hollywood depictions of Jesus's life, like the 1977 miniseries Jesus of Nazareth directed by Franco Zeffirelli and DeMille's King of Kings have aroused audience's interest around the world.
The film is aimed to promote peace and harmony message among the citizens across the globe.
