While it has been just a few days since Maruti Suzuki launched 5 five models of CNG products in the Indian market, but the deliveries of the product has been delayed in the Mumbai region.

It is to be mentioned here that the company launched products like Alto, WagonR, Estilo, Eeco & SX4 last month but as the filling nozzles in the products is not matching with the nozzles at the fuel stations, the company had no other choice rather than delaying the deliveries of the products. Industry watchers believe that as the company has ensured that the inappropriate products do hit the Mumbai circuit it is still better for the overall image of the company as compared to a situation where the company had sold the defective products to the consumer.

It may be noted here that the products sold in the Delhi and Gujarat markets are doing well as they fir with the nozzles of the fuel stations in these markets.

The company has launched these products in order to gain back the lost market share to the competition in the small car market segment.
