The recently produced flick by Aamir Khan, Peepli Live has finally paved its way to the Oscars from India.

It is to be mentioned here that the flick is selected into the next year's Oscars Best Foreign Film Category. For the uninitiated, the movie is a satire on how politicians the Indian media see very serious issues like farmer suicides.

Aamir Khan, the producer of the movie has recently said that he is very happy for Anusha Rizvi and it was the first film for her and the great success if surely a very big achievement. It may be noted here that Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par and now Peepli Live are names of some movies that have gone to the Oscars in which Aamir is associated.

Aamir also said that as every country sends its best cinema works to the oscars and making it to the final five is surely tough as you are competing against 16 entries from the Americas, Africa and Australia, 17 each from eastern, western Europe and Asia. The movie has got both critical and commercial success in the country.
