Aakrosh lands on the Censor Board ring

Submitted by Surbhi Garg on Sat, 09/25/2010 - 03:15

The movie based on the honour killing, Aakrosh has recently landed into a few rounds of trouble with objections from the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC). After the Ajay Devgan starer movie has recently got a show-cause notice from the board which is demanding 30 cuts or changes in the dialogues of the film.

Moreover, it has learned from the sources that the production house may not agree for all the changes demanded by the board and examining committee may have to move the CBFC committee about the same.

The Regional officer of CBFC, Alpana Sharma recently said that the board has issues a show-cause notice to the production house and it has objected to the dialogues against CBI, caste, community and women.

A source in the industry also said that the dialogue against the women community is double meaning and it is highly objectionable.

Moreover, another source highlighted the fact that there is a very strong language that has been used in the film. The board has asked the production house to either cut it or replace it with mild words.
