I wouldn't drop Yuvraj- Says Kiran More
India's former chief selector, Kiran More has said that he won't drop a player like Yuvraj for the squad for the upcoming Asia cup. He has criticized the decision and has said that the 2011 World Cup is not very far and dropping a player of Yuvraj's caliber is not going to help India.
He has also questioned the selection committee's decision to keep player like Sreesanth, RP Singh, Munaf Patel and Ishant Sharma out of the squad.
More has said that the selectors can ask Yuvraj not to panic and just focus on the opportunity to come further. He has said that BCCI could send a message to this left-handed batsman to get his fitness and temperament right in this period of time.
As per Kiran More, the selectors should encourage Yuvraj saying he has always been a part of the team and he is now to sit on the bench and its temporary.
Apart from those, the selectors need to ask Yuvraj to set his act proper and become more disciplined to play international level cricket.
