18 years ago, Bollywood actress Kajol had shared the screen space with mother Tanuja in the film Bekhudi in 1992.

The mother-daughter duo are again going to appear together, playing mother and daughter only, in Ajay Devgan's home production Toonpur Ka Superhero.

The lead actor of the film is Ajay Devgan himself, and cast opposite him is Kajol. The real life couple were last seen together in Devgan's directorial debut film, U Me Aur Hum.

The upcoming film is rumoured to have a lot of animation work.

Ajay plays a superhero in the film. He has dedicated this film to his seven-year-old daughter Nysa. Kajol also gave birth to a baby boy a few months ago.

With Toonpur ka Superhero, Ajay Devgan has managed to achieve something that a lot of filmmakers have not been able to do in the last 18 years - bringing the mother-daughter duo of Tanuja and Kajol together on the big screen.

Even in the 1992 film by Rahul Rawail, Bekhudi, Tanuja and Kajol had acted as reel-life mother and daughter. Toonpur ka Superhero is supposedly going to be India's first live animation movie.
