Munjals seal their internal share deal
It's been more than sixty years that the Munjals have entered into the Indian business circuit and the Family has been able to make its presence felt by creating the world's largest two-wheeler maker by volumes, Hero Honda.
Notably, the family always carried an advantage of doing things differently and the Group has focused on the same approach in the case of slicing their big family cake.
The family has sealed its deal without any cash transactions taking place. It has twenty companies under its belt with billions of dollars of businesses and investments and much more, but the arrangement with which the Group has been able to get its grip over the respective stakes is really overwhelming.
Of the 26% stake that the Group has in the cash cow Hero Honda, it will be owned and managed by the Chairman of the firm, Brijmohan Lall Munjal family with all the 26% stake in the company while his sons Pawan Kant, Sunil Kant, Suman Kant and the late Raman Kant's family will also have a combined ownership in the company.
