Cute Bollywood actress, Preity Zinta is the next brand ambassador of the state Himachal Pradesh. She will promote tourism in the state.

Today Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal revealed that Himachal Pradesh is the birth place of the actress and she has agreed theoretically to become the state's brand ambassador for tourism and environment.

Recently Arun Sharma, Director of the Tourism and Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh had met the actress, Preeti Zinta in Mumbai and asked her approval to become the brand ambassador to provide support to the state.

Dhumal said that in the state there are many natural wealth that can be exploited for tourism promotion but the communications built is yet to match the wants of the high-end tourists.

He said that there are many offers from well-known international chains of hoteliers to endow in five and seven star resorts in the state so as to provide needs of such tourists.

He added that the state government has already approved heli-taxi service for these tourists. This is done to enable them to visit the distantly and distant virgin locations and discover the minor beautiful places.
