Land Rover files 42% jump in May car sales
While it has been facing a lot of issues maintaining the growth momentum, but the Tata group firm Land Rover recently said that the company has been able to take up its total sales by 42.3 per cent in the month of May this year.
The company also mentioned the fact that it has sold close to 15,181 units that is more than 40% up as compared to the level it achieved in the same month last year.
According to the statement issued by the company, all global markets have shown an increase versus May last year. The company believes that the high sales in growth is mainly a result of its 2010 model range that includes features like latest, most efficient, and technologically advanced line-up for Land Rover in its history.
While the domestic market of the, luxury UV maker remained the biggest also by climbing 64 per cent to 3,040 units. It was followed by the North American market that witnessed sales of 2,935 units, registering 24 per cent jump.
However, China filed a rise of over 100% by selling over 2,000 while Italy stood at a 25% growth with over 1,000 units.
