Brilliant Bollywood actress Kajol and multitalented actors such as Tabu and Irrfan Khan were nominated for the Padma Shri, the 4th biggest civilian honor on the day of Republic Day.

Daughter of renowned actress Tanuja and late Bengali filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee, Kajol came up with her Bollywood debut with movie Bekhudi in 1992 at the young age of just 17.

Although the 35-year-old is well known with commercial success which she got in her 2nd outing Baazigar where she had to shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan and consequent to that there was nothing to look back for the actress.

She acted in many hit after hit movies such as Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and recently My Name Is Khan. Kajol got married to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and they are having 2 beautiful children.

Tabu is amongst one of the most brilliant actresses in Hindi film industry and she debuted in Bollywood with commercial film Vijaypath, although it was offbeat movie as such Maachis and Chandni Bar that brought her great compliments and few awards.
