North Korea should be punished for ship sinking-Says US

The state department of US has said that there will be definite action against North Korea over the ship sinking issue of South Korean warship in March. North Korea is now facing tremendous international pressure after the investigation team had blamed North Korea for the sinking of that warship in which 46 sailors died.

China remained neutral and did not comment on this issue. But as per US, North Korea has to be punished for its act.

A team of experts from US, UK, Sweden and Australia had reported that a torpedo of North Korea was the reason for this accident. They have also added that torpedo found on the sea floor has some letters like one of the North Korean torpedo. US has informed that it was a serious offence and could be the reason of a war. US have already stationed 28,000 troops in south following the war between Korea countries in between 1950-1953.

Defence Secretary Mr. Gates has made it very clear that the US sympathy is with South Korea and it will decide what action to take. The President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak has promised to take stern action against North.
