Ra. One, produced by Shahrukh Khan has set new record by selling its satellite rights for Rs 40 crore which is the highest ever for a Bollywood film. The film has been made with such a big budget that no Hindi film can match up to.

Shahrukh Khan being producer of the film has spent whooping amount of money on the film. He has hired some of the best SFX people from Hollywood to make Ra. One. The film is a sci-fi and many technicalities have been taken into care so that film can do wonders.

Although the release date of the film is not yet scheduled but the film has start earnings huge bucks. Previously, 3 Idiots had earned Rs 36 crore by selling its satellite rights to a channel.

Now days, selling satellite rights is not new, in the preceding year many films like Guzaarish, Dabangg and Tees Maar Khan were sold to different channels for huge amount.

Sharukh Khan is playing Superhero in the film and Kareena Kapoor is the lead actress opposite him. The Ra word in the title of the film means ‘Random Access’.
