Religion should not be used as an agenda –Says Shah Rukh

Submitted by Surbhi Garg on Fri, 03/18/2011 - 10:03

Bollywood superstar ShahRukh Khan has said that the religion should not be used by the politicians as an agenda to win. Doing so spreads offensive feelings among one another.

According to King Khan, he is unable to understand this and why the politicians do so. However he said that in real fact religion should not be used as a term in their agenda. He has said this at the India Today Conclave.

He has also added that instead of taking the religion as an agenda the politician should look over the problems like education, supporting women, leadership qualities. These are the basic political issues which are minored under the term of social issues. The politicians should have an eye on this and take steps for improvement.

SRK has told that he himself is a Muslim by caste but his children are aware about all the other religions. He has made his children known all about other religions as well. The word ‘religion’ simply depicts the faith one has in their god it doesn’t matter with one being Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian. At last he concluded by saying that nobody in this world has the right to come between them and their god.
