Akshay Kumar has been known for being the original host of the reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. Though the hot actress Priyanka Chopra hosted the last season of the show but the channel decided to return to Akshay for their next season, of which they have even shot a promo.

Then what has suddenly changed the mind and the heart of the channel that they are now keen to get Salman Khan to do what Akshay was supposed to do?

Some sources have recently revealed that Salman shot for the promo of the reality game show when he was in Bangkok shooting for the film 'Ready'. Akshay was informed about the whole incident through his friends and was quite stunned to know about this new development.

There are also talks in the industry that Salman Khan has offered Colors TV channel a reasonable price deal for hosting two TV shows i. e. Bigg Boss season 5 and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Salman's ever increasing popularity made this offer considered to be quite a 'steal'.
