Elizabeth Taylor had an exceptional eyelashes
Elizabeth Taylor called as the most beautiful woman in the world, famous for her violet eyes but there was a secret which was not revealed to many that she had a genetic mutation that left her with an extra set of eyelashes.
The Daily Mail reported that this rare condition is known as distichiasis, which gives an extra appeal to Taylor’s deep violet eyes.
During her birth in 1932, doctors had already told her parents about the mutation caused due to abnormal development of FOXC2 gene. This type of situation arises in the pure-bred dogs, and can be painful if the hair on the second row does not grow in a straight line.
But fortunately Taylor escaped with any such complications. Her mother after listening to the doctors said that this condition does not sound too horrible at all.
