It seems that new era filmmakers believed in remixed versions of old songs. Following this trend, Ekta Kapoor also decided to bring the most popular song ‘Raat akeli hai’ from 1971 hit ‘Jewel Thief’ for her upcoming film ‘Ragini MMS’.

But unlike other filmmakers, Ekta has planned to put the original track inside her movie instead of remixed version. The original track was composed by SD Burman, sang by Asha Bhosle and was picturized on yesteryears’ stars Dev Anand and Tanuja.

Yesterday, Ekta Kapoor has launched the music of ‘Ragini MMS’ which is a horror movie. The film starring Kainaz Motivala, Raj Kumar Yadav along with veteran actor Jeetender.

The tracks of the movie were composed by Faizan Hussain and Agnel Roman and were appreciated by the crowd gathered. Ekta has decided to launch the music with the taste of the movie, it was a complete blackout before the launch of music, and then the trailer of the movie along with the song promo of Raat Akeli Hai was shown.
