Gujarat NRE Coke has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and it has managed to post profit figure this time.

The company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1.3 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010.

The company has a net loss Rs 103 crore for the same quarter in the financial year 2008-09. This has been informed by Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

So far as the total income of the firm are concerned, it has touched Rs 433.8 crore during the fourth quarter of 2009-10. It was Rs 216.3 crore for the January-March period of fiscal year last year.

The annual consolidated net profit of the company was reported to be Rs 20.4 crore for the year under review with a growth of 76.63% against last year. The board has decided to recommend a dividend of Rs 1 per equity share to the shareholders for the financial year 2009-10.
