Hyundai's domestic sales up 16% in May

Hyundai's domestic sales up 16% in May

Hyundai has announced that its domestic sales have gone up by15.52% in the month of May. Hyundai Motor India has been the country's second largest carmaker. There has been a remarkable increase in the domestic sales of Hyundai cars and it has touched 27,151 units for the month of May, 2010.

The company had sold 23,503 units in May last year in the domestic market. This has been informed by Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) in a statement. However, the total sales for the month of May have increased 7.30%.

In this month the car sales is reported to touch 46,808 units from 43,624 units in the same month in the preceding year. This impressive sales figure shows that the company has a very good record in the domestic market.

Moreover, it has been excellent in international market too. It is country's largest car exporter as well. But this time there has been a marginal decline in the export figures. There has been a decline of 2.31% in exports in this month.
