Ashiana Housing net profit rises by 29%

Leading Realty firm Ashiana Housing has declared its year-end financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and it has posted an impressive rise in net profit figure.

The company has registered a net profit of Rs 36.8 crore for the year that ended in 31st March, 2010. The consolidated net profit was reported to be Rs 28.4 crore for the financial year 2008-09. This net profit figure has grown up by
29 % in this year as compared to the last fiscal. This has been informed by Ashiana Housing in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The total income of the firm are has touched Rs 121 crore during the fiscal year 2009-10.

It was Rs 104 crore for the last year. There has been a hike of 16% in the total income of the firm in this financial year against preceding year of 2008-09. The board of directors of the firm has decided to recommend for a dividend of 15% to its investors for the fiscal year 2009-10 subject to the approval of the shareholders.
