Submitted by Akash Dhawan on Tue, 06/15/2010 - 16:04

According to a release issued by the country's largest home-grown auto major, Tata Motors owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have recently started the deliveries of the Jaguar XJ.

In fact, company's Senior Vice-President (Commercial), Passenger Car Business Unit, S Krishnan, said that the company is very much excited by initiating the deliveries of the XJ and the company expects a intense aspiration in India to own an XJ, keeping in mind the behavior of the people who have expressed a desire to own this iconic car.

The press release issued by the company further highlighted various facts about the looks and design of the car. The release also mentioned that the teardrop shape of the side windows of the product establishes the car's silhouette and also lies at the heart of its flowing design.

Notably, the XJ is expected to be even more popular than the XF model of the company and by the usage of magnesium and composite alloys, the company has been able to make the product one of the stiffest and the lightest amongst all in the Jaguar portfolio.
