CBI Announces Names of Three People Involved in Gyaneshwari Train Derailment Case

A reward of Rs. 1 lakh has been announced by the Central Bureau of Investigation to the person who will inform CBI about the three people accused in the Gyaneshwari train derailment case. The police have also announced the names of these three activists, today.

More than 140 people were killed and several left injured in the accident. The Spokesperson of CBI, Harsh Bhal has informed All India Radio about the accused, which have been identified as Manoj, Umakant Mahto and Asit Mahto. Today, their posters have been released and will be displayed at the well-known places for seeking information about them.

The investigating agency has also given the telephone numbers on which information can be given about the accused absconds. Their telephone numbers are 09674433351, 09051444405, 09051061000, 033-23596119.

The agency is also taking the support of Joint Investigation Team to investigate about the accident, more professionally. Close coordination and cooperation between several organizations, agencies and individuals is also involved in the critical investigations.

The JIT will include the officers from CBI, Railway Protection Force, State Police, Railway Board and Forensic Experts for carrying out the research in a time bound manner. The investigating agencies are trying every possible effort to solve the issue.
