The recent advancement in case of the Bhopal gas Tragedy comes in the form of a possibility that the government will soon be knocking the door of Supreme Court for a curative petition against the dilution of charges in the Bhopal gas leak case.

It is further stated that this step is gaining s major support by the Group of Ministers (GoM). And the association is soon to finalize its report for the Prime Minister on Monday, and shall discuss all the left over legal issues and options.

It was also stated that this curative petition issue is presently the topmost concern of the GoM.

According to the sources, it is believed that the supposed move is a result of country-wide outrage that was witnessed after the June 7 judgement of the Bhopal trial court that ordered two years imprisonment to all the accused.
