The second largest player in the passenger car market and the largest exporter of passenger cars, Hyundai Motors India limited will be launching the Verna Transform in the Indian market on the 23rd of June.

According to the recent media reports, the new version of Verna will compete with products like Honda City, SX4, Fiesta and the soon to be launched Volkswagen Vento.

According to the experts, the new Verna will be launched in Petrol and Diesel variants and will offer a better fuel efficiency to the consumers as compared to its earlier model. While the product is expected to be priced in the bracket of Rs. 7-9 lakhs, the product will be rolled out from the Chennai facility.

It is believed that the new Verna will help the company to spruce up its unit sales in the A3 segment. Notably, the company has been facing low volumes in the A3 segment where it offers products like the Accent and Verna. The new model is expected to sport significant changes in the bumper-grill and even in the interiors of the product.
