L&T Infotech joins Open Handset Alliance

Leading IT firm of the country, L&T Infotech has announced that it has joined with Open Handset Alliance (OHA). L&T Infotech is the 100% subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.

By this joining, now L&T Infotech has joined with 65 other global telecom firms who are the market leader in various regions in the mobile industry. So L&T Infotech is all set to enter the telecom market of the country.

It has also informed its portfolio in the telecom field. It has informed that the company will look after the fields like platform & application development, middleware solutions, device testing and support services etc.

L&T Infotech has also informed that the company is going to develop Android platform in near future. The company is anticipating bringing phones in this platform.

Chief Executive Officer of L&T Infotech, Mr. Sudip Banerjee has expressed his contentment over this joining. He has said that they are extremely happy to join hand with Open Handset Alliance (OHA). The company is having a strong engineering team which adds value to its customers. He has anticipated that this move will help the company further.
