Indian PM Has a Packed Schedule

The Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh has a packed schedule and is expected to be very busy on his foreign trip. He will be attending the G-20 Summit on Saturday and Sunday and meet various leaders, including the US President, Barrack Obama. He will also be signing a mutual nuclear cooperation agreement with Canada.

The Indian Prime Minister will be travelling by the special Air India One plane and his schedule over the next couple of days will be very hectic.

Mr. Singh will first meet new British Prime Minister, David Cameron of Britain and also, meet the Japanese Prime Minister, Naoto Kano. He is expected to meet these two leaders before he meets the US President.

H is expected to reach the Pearson International Airport in Toronto at 10.30 am on Saturday and meet with David Cameron and French President, Nicolas Sarkozy.

Then, he will be attending a G-20 dinner and meet with the leaders of the BRIC countries -- Brazil, Russia and China. He is also expected to have a packed schedule, even for Sunday.

Mr. Singh will also be meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper after meeting all these leaders. He is also expected to meet with the members of the Canadian Parliament and the Ontario legislature. Many of these leaders were born in India.
