Homesickness and Family

Submitted by Rajiv Srivastav on Wed, 06/30/2010 - 15:57

Relationship and family bonding are some of the vital parts of human beings and their lifestyle. One should always respect them. But becoming too much lenient towards these relations can be very dangerous. This can be named as homesickness.

A study has been conducted on 200 people in India by a non government organization. All the participants were staying with their family from their birth.

They were given to do some amusing things by which they can enjoy their life like going to public amusement place and restaurants. They enjoyed these works. After a couple of days they were separated from their near and dears. More than 60 percent of them felt disheartened and the working efficiency was hampered. They became less concentrated to their work.

It is also found that those who had spent some years only with their friends during their study time, they felt less disheartened when separated from their family.

Amazingly boys are more homesick then girls. Whatever may be the consequences of the analysis, but it is good to know that people really want their family near them.
