Submitted by Satish Goel on Thu, 07/01/2010 - 08:00

Paul P, an NRI, has alleged that Art of Living Foundation (AOL) leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has seized 15 acres of land, originally owned by the former on the Kanakapura Road in Bangalore.

The accusation came the very next day of the spiritual guru’s claims about the threatening calls, which he had been receiving.

Paul told that upon been disappointed with the alleged encounter, he approached journalist Agni Shridhar, who releases a tabloid to bring the matter to the forefront.

“Twelve years ago, I purchased 15 acres land on the periphery of the AOL ashram from a farmer named Mohan for Rs 1.2 crore”, Paul said.

He added that the farmer transferred the power of attorney for his land to someone, before informing him. The farmer then died.

Mohan‘s son Vijay is now refuting to sign take the sale procedure ahead.

Paul then found that Mohan had transferred the property rights to AOL. He said that Ravi Shankar had given him a word two years back, saying that he will return the land back.

However, Ravi Shankar is now allegedly refusing to consider any settlement.
