Nitish Directs Recognition of 2,400 Madarsas
In view of doing away with the controversies and complications, which aroused out of the row between Nitish Kumar and Naredra Modi, the former has now framed a new strategy.
Under the move, the Chief Minister has decided to give recognition to 400 madarsas in Bihar. The state hasn’t recognized any madarsas after 1994. The number of recognized madarsas in the state has been maintained to be
1,127, since then.
JD(U)'s Rajya Sabha MP Ali Anwar, has been promoting Kumar’s Muslim agenda to be raised in the elections. Anwar has developed platform called All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaz to acknowledge the plight of OBC Muslims. The forum for discussion has been scheduled for July 1 in Patna.
The forum will see a large number of intellectuals including World Islamic Forum (UK) Chairman Mohammed Essa Maunsuri and All India Momin Conference Vice Chairman Maulana Junaid Ahmed Ansari, participating in the event.
“We will press for inclusion of Dalit Muslims and Dalit Christians in Scheduled Castes as per the recommendations of the Justice Rangnath Mishra Commission”, said Anwar.
He added that this is merely a coincidence that the AIPMM forum has made way in the state, in the wake of elecltions.
