It has been informed that the upcoming stunning venture of Anurag Kashyap is Bombay Velvet. People are not only wondering about the usage of the old version of the place that is Bombay instead of Mumbai but also about the central character of the movie which is yet to be decided between Aamir Khan or Shahrukh Khan.

While the gossips were around, director Anurag Kashyap cleared it that the lead for his next project is Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan was never thought for this role.

In a news interview to filmicafe. com he has said that he believes that only Aamir Khan will be able to carry away the role with the depth it requires and he is going to narrate the story to the actor soon.

When asked what if he rejects the project, who would take the role, he replied that he has not thought about it yet and moreover he would accept it as the script is made especially keeping him in mind.

The director of the movie is Anurag Kashyap and it is being produced by Danny Boyle with studio 18.
